“It is not titles that honor men, but the men who honor titles.” — Niccolo Machiavelli
That sleek invitation lost its way for a little while before landing safely in my hands; only to receive it couple hours prior to the start of the event. Obviously being Pesh, I already have a well-planned outfit for the occasion and midway through dressing up. I’d assumed it was a black tie dress code and successfully convinced myself ‘Chic & Classy’ (as stated on the invite) was somehow… kind of… the same?! My eagerness in wanting to put on that soft and glittery sequinned gown loaned at the eleventh hour, gave me no reason to hesitate. Never think twice about something that enhances your beauty!
The possibility to cross path with unhappiness is almost down to zero, when a lady had the pleasure to be dressed to the nines and chauffeured around in a limousine service (by Sixt Limousine). It was 100% ensured to arrive in style and glamour. Mesmerizing opening act by our pride and glory, Nathan Hartono. Of course it was a night of roaring cheers surrounded the cage that lured a bunch of ripped bodies in for an expressive showcase of strength, and I would say strategies for sure. Not only were there rounds of impressive showdown, I particularly picked images from ONE Championship facebook page where friendly gestures were exchanged between two warriors post-fight. Although yes, a hundred years cannot repair a moment’s loss of honor, however in this case it is not the title that honored the men but these men who truly honored the titles and their opponents. Such heartwarming scenarios had elevated the value of themselves, the reputation of the sport and event as well as the joy and passionate support from the spectators. What else can I say but…, Roger Huerta!!! x
So grateful to Style Lease able to accommodate me for a closet fitting at the very last minute. Lovin’ every moment in this amazing dress; couldn’t have done it better without them. Perfectly paired with my handcrafted swarovski baby EPIFIRNY statement necklace. My very own way to defend honor (of style), is to always make the choice to dress well as a form of respect. Regardless, it’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed!
