“The release of atomic power has changed everything except our way of thinking. The solution to this problem lies in the heart of mankind. If only I had known, I should have become a watchmaker.”
— Albert Einstein
Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters. In this era filled with hi-tech convenience, knowing every Tom, Dick, and Harry uses their phones to tell time. I am certain of the importance to live in the present and maintain same pace as the growth of this worldly society, but what they do not realize is the loss of a particular romantic factor that is so beautiful about a timepiece. It is the age of going that extra mile…
Yes! I am a hopeless romantic, who still enjoy purchasing patterned papers to write love letters, pen down my thoughts on an actual notebook, soften by men (or people) who’ll go that extra mile to surprise you, mesmerized by a knight in shiny armor who’ll go all out to defend and protect his love, and believe that a lifetime partner should inspire you every single day. As I grow into the embrace of this amazing digital era, my heartbeat slows at every tick. More often than not, I need to hide in my shell alone in order to feel. Thankfully, voluntary work at dogs/animals shelters has this same soothing effect that I yearn for.
Back to the love with little hands; comes and touches you with a thousand memories, and wonderfully replies you beautiful, unanswerable questions… Extremely delighted having to receive invitation to grace the launch of Mont Blanc’s 4810 timepiece collection, with the presence of Mr. (famous) WatchAnish. As a lover of craftsmanship, I am even more pleasured to have spoken with the experienced watchmakers. From an inimitable timepiece to an immeasurable masterpiece, there is meditation perfected.
